Throughout my decades-long journey practicing kendo, I've learned how important it is to start with a great master who can teach not only the techniques but also the values and spirit of kendo. That's why I truly appreciate Master Hyun Kim (6th Dan). He is knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to helping students grow. My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loves kendo and loves Master Hyun Kim! It makes me so happy to see her enjoying kendo while learning respect, focus, and discipline from such a great master. I believe having the right teacher from the beginning makes a huge difference, especially for young children. Chung Pa Kendo is a wonderful place for kids and families, whether you're a beginner or have previous experience. Highly recommend to any family looking for a fun and meaningful activity for their kids!

My 13-year-old daughter joined Chung Pa Kendo a little over a month ago, and it has been an amazing experience. My 6-year-old daughter has been practicing kendo for almost a year. The kids start by learning a few basic strikes, and over time they learn how to perform them more precisely with the right timing. I have been observing them for the past 7 years and they are amazing team members and individuals. Respectful, welcoming, supportive, and great energies. I myself have finally decided to join the crew recently and I love it. It's not easy and requires commitment but no pressure nor penalties. You will always have someone you can ask questions and learn from even if you are new to this. I am 42 and just started hoping that I could go on til I meet Jesus again. It's never too late to start Kendo with Chung Pa 😀
